Sportsperson of the Year
The Suffolk Times has awarded William Hickox with the “2024 Sports Person of the Year” and the Will Power Trust team are incredibly proud of this award. This is such a great honor as this shows the effect he and the Will Power Trust team have had on the community and inspires the team to continue on this path. Sports in the North Fork community are more than just competition, they are a way to bring those of the area together to support one another and make them better. We look forward to improving our community through sport, service and community outreach as others have supported us in this journey.
The Second Annual Billy’s Will Power Volleyball Tournament
The Second Annual Billy’s Will Power Volleyball Tournament was an immense success thanks to our community1 First to thank our major sponsors Buzz Chew Chevrolet Cadillac, Mattituck Mental Wellness, Finnegan Law, P.C., Johnson Mowdy Associates, CPA’s, P.C., Mattituck Environmental and Baiting Hollow Golf Club. We would also like to thank all of our other sponsors(add link to list) , no act is to small and we thank you all for your involvement in this event. This year we had 10 participating teams and they put on a great show of competition in this late summer classic. We had over 80 Chinese auction baskets that were amazing and the big prize that everyone was a buzz about was the all included 4 person golf day at Baiting Hollow Club! This shaped up to be an amazing day raising money which has been helping William and his family adjust to this new way of life and make him more independent. We look forward to helping other members of our community dealing with medical hardships as well as increasing awareness about neurologic and degenerative autoimmune diseases.

The Second Annual Billy’s Will Power Volleyball Tournament is coming up this Saturday, August 10th 2024 at Breakwater Beach in Mattituck. This fun filled day will have: A 4-Person and 6-Person team volleyball tournament, Chinese auction of over 75 prizes, live music and much more. This event will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the Chinese auction starting at 9 a.m. and the drawing starting at 3 p.m. The auction will conclude with our grand prize of a 4-Person golf outing at Baiting Hollow Club with lunch included. Come down and join us for a fun day within our community!
